Information on conformity according to the Accessibility Act (declaration of conformity)

Date: 1 June 2025

Accessibility statement

Everyone should be able to use products and services without restrictions, such as through digital channels (e.g. Internet banking, website and self-service devices). This is known as "accessible use". The rules for this are set down in law. The law is called the Accessibility Act (or "Barrierefreiheitsgesetz") in Austria and is abbreviated to BaFG.

We are committed to making our websites accessible.

We want to ensure that all our products and services that fall within the scope of the law are accessible.

This accessibility statement applies to the following digital channels:

websites / web applications:

  • llb.at

and mobile applications:

  • LLB Banking app (iOS, from app version 1.14.7)
  • LLB Banking app (Android, from app version 1.14.7)

of the LLB Group

Requirements for accessibility

We adhere to the requirements of EN 301 549 (European standard on the accessibility requirements of information and communication technology). Furthermore, we take into account the requirements of the World Wide Web Consortium (abbreviated to W3C). These guidelines are also known as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines or simply WCAG.

Current accessibility of our digital channels

The aforementioned websites and mobile applications are partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 at conformance level AA or with the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) according to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Accessible content of our digital channels

The information is provided through more than one sensory channel.

Most digital content is offered via two sensory channels:

  • Written form
  • Read aloud

The information is presented in an understandable way.

Most digital content is presented in an understandable way:

  • Simple presentation
  • Accessible texts for selected content
  • Descriptions for non-text content
  • Videos and other time-based content are used where appropriate

The information is presented to users in a way that they can perceive.

The perceptibility of most digital content is supported by various measures:

  • Easy-to-read text with adequate font sizes and text settings
  • Sufficient contrasts for texts and control elements
  • Support for standard browser features to customise sizes and contrasts as well as assistive technologies

The information content is provided in text formats that are suitable for generating alternative assistive formats, which can be presented by users in various forms and perceived through more than one sensory channel.

The machine-readable structure of the information and keyboard operability are supported by most digital content.

Text-to-speech software can be used with most digital content.

The information is presented in a font with an appropriate font size and suitable written form, taking into account the expected conditions of use, as well as sufficient contrast and adjustable spacing between the letters, lines and paragraphs.

The following settings apply to most of our digital content and can be partially adjusted with assistive technologies, operating systems or browser zoom features

  • Font: Sophia Pro
  • Font size in body text: 17px
  • Font colours and contrast in body text: #1a1a1a 17.4:1
  • Line and character spacing in body text: 23px, not modified

An alternative presentation of the content is offered when elements with non-text content are included.

The most relevant digital non-text content is provided with alternative presentation.

  • Descriptions for non-text content such as images
  • Content of charts and graphics is largely available in e-banking as texts and tables
  • Some video content on the website has subtitles
  • Content structures are technically distinct (lists, headings)
  • Content in HTML forms is technically distinct and grouped.

The electronic information required for the provision of services is made available in a coherent and appropriate manner through its perceivable, operable, understandable and robust design.

The distinction of information is supported in most digital content by the following measures:

  • Markings in a combination of size, colour and distinction with symbols and signs.
  • Marking of necessary, time-sensitive content (timers)
  • Highlighting of control elements and links with appropriate distinctions.
  • Standardised presentation of processes, dialogues and notifications.
