Push notifications
If you subscribe to push notifications, the messages will be sent to your mobile device by Liechtensteinische Landesbank (Österreich) AG (hereinafter referred to as the "Bank"). Please note the following when subscribing to this service:
All messages are sent in an unencrypted format. Therefore, there is a risk that third parties may view or modify these messages, either in whole or in part. It is also possible that third-parties may infer an existing customer relationship with the Bank. Information is regularly transferred without checks and across borders. This is also the case even if the sender and the client are located in the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Push notifications are transmitted by the Bank via a message server which is part of the operating system installed on the mobile device (e.g. Apple Inc., Google Inc.). This means that the data transmitted is sent to a server located in the USA and is thus no longer subject to the laws of Liechtenstein, particularly those concerning data protection and banking secrecy. There are no regulations in the USA concerning the protection of your data, and US authorities (such as the US Internal Revenue Service) and third parties may gain access to your data and use it without restriction; in particular, they may communicate it to third parties or disclose it.
The contents of the messages are always displayed on your screen, even if your device is locked. You can limit or disable the display mode via the message settings in the operating system on your mobile device.
By clicking "Accept", you expressly authorise the Bank to send push notifications to this device.
In addition, you also confirm that sending push notifications does not constitute any violation of the banking secrecy law on the part of the Bank, and that you have acknowledged and accept the risks outlined above.
You can deactivate push notifications again at any time in the app.
